FCC listing has revealed the next-iteration Samsung Galaxy A7 with a notable more powerful battery as compared to its precursor.
Tech giant, Samsung, stepped out of its tradition a little bit with its Galaxy A series smartphones, widely defined by sleek metallic designs at a time when plastic dominated the company's lineup. The Galaxy A series came with great features, but battery life was not among the top-notch features.
The recent Galaxy A8 saw some improvements in the iteration, and the next Galaxy A7 will seemingly sport an impressive battery. While the current Galaxy A7 has a 2600mAh battery that is slightly small to feed the large full HD display, its successor is expected to deliver better performance because of the larger battery unit.
The next-generation Galaxy A7 will sport a 3300mAh battery under the hood, marking a big advancement over its precursor, according to Apps FCC. With regard to other features, the new Galaxy A7 will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone as well packs a Snapdragon 615 SoC alongside a 3GB RAM.
According to Sam Mobile, other speculated features include a 16GB internal memory, a microSD expansion slot, a 13MP main camera, and a 5MP front camera. Based on the software, the device is speculated to launch with Android Lollipop on board.
Currently, there is no official statement from Samsung about its next generation Galaxy A series, but more leaks show an imminent launch. The Galaxy A7 already reached TENAA and the FCC, both of which indicate that the launch is soon.
