Another marriage looms for former "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria after she announced through an Instagram post of her engagement to businessman Jose Antonio Baston.
She posted a photo of the new diamond ring with the caption, "Ummmm so this happened." The photo, which showed her kissing Baston, got more than 100,000 likes and elicited more than 3,000 comments on Instagram.
The 40-year-old actress, who is the star of a new NBC comedy "Telenovela" which premiered last week, is seen wearing the ring on her left hand in her photos at the Global Gift Foundation event in Dubai which the new couple attended, reports Entertainment Weekly.
In 2014, Longoria told People that they started to date a year before that. She confesses to being attracted to intellectual and humorous men.
Baston, 47, and Longoria were first seen in public as a couple in November 2013 at the Museo Jumex opening dinner in Mexico City, reports US Magazine. He is the president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America and the largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate in the world. Baston is the producer of "Devious Maids."
Longoria was married for three years to NBA player Tony Parker, but she divorced him in 2010 after a cheating scandal destroyed their union. After her divorce, she dated entrepreneur Ernesto Arguello, a content in Longoria's reality TV series "Ready for Love." Before Arguello, she also dated NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez and Eduardo Cruz, brother of Penelope Cruz.
