HP Falcon, a Windows 10 smartphone with Snapdragon 820, is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2016.
HP is rumored to be working on a Windows 10 Mobile smartphone that is speculated to get official at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 tech trade show that will be held in February 2016, WM Power User reported.
In the past week it was revealed that the AdDuplex data for this month has revealed that several new Windows 10 Mobile devices are under the wraps such as Lumia 650, LG G Pad V8.3 and HP Falcon. Also, at the beginning of this weeks, the HP Falcon was found listed on GFXBench benchmarks database, Nokia Power User reported.
According to GFXBench listing, the alleged HP Falcon will be a phablet device with 5.8-inch display. It will be supporting a display resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
It will be fueled by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. It will be arriving with an internal storage of 64 GB. Its rear camera will be of 20 MP and it will be arriving with a frontal camera of 12 MP.
It will be the first smartphone ever from HP to arrive with Windows 10 Mobile OS. Even though the GFXBench listing has listed the flagship as HP Falcon, it is not sure whether the smartphone will be launched with the same moniker. Rumors also suggest that it will carry a cheaper price tag.
The MWC 2016 will start on Feb. 22 and end of Feb. 25. Even though speculations are suggesting that HP Falcon smartphone may get announced at MWC 2016, HP is yet to finalize on the decision of releasing a Windows 10 smartphone.
