Before they battle it out on the Miss Universe 2014 coronation night on Jan. 25, 88 beauty queens from all over the world competed during the preliminary competition on Jan. 21 in Doral, Miami, where 15 semi-finalists will be chosen.

Based on their performance on the preliminary competition and their photos posted on the Miss Universe official website, here are the ten contestants with the best-looking face:

10. Miss Philippines

Mary Jean Lastimosa, 27, is from North Cotabato, Philippines. She stands 5'9" and speaks Filipino and English. She graduated from college with a Computer Engineering degree and with flying colors.

9. Miss USA

Nia Sanchez, 24, is from Las Vegas and stands 5'8." While she is half Hispanic, the only language she can speak is English. She has traveled to Austria, Mexico, Switzerland and the Middle East.

8. Miss Venezuela

Migbelis Lynette Castellanos, 19, is from Cabimas, Venezuela. She speaks Spanish and English and stands 5'7."

7. Miss Brazil

Melissa Gurgel, 20, is from Fortaleza, Brazil. She speaks Portuguese and stands 5'5."

6. Miss Austria

Julia Furdea, 20, is from Linz, Austria, a publicity student in Vienna and an aspiring TV host. She stands 5'7" and speaks Deutsch, French, English and Rumänisch.

5. Miss Serbia

Andjelka Tomasevic, 21, is a student of Faculty of Tourism from Belgrade, Serbia. She has modelled in Serbia Fashion Wee, stands 5'7" and speaks Serbian and English.

4. Miss Guyana

Niketa Barker, 24, is a Medicine and Surgery student at the University of Guyana. She stands 5'9" and speaks English.

3. Dominican Republic

Kimberly Castillo, 26, stands 5'10 and speaks Italian and Spanish. She worked as a model in Milan, Italy, where she also studied industrial pattern making and visual merchandising.

2. Miss Guatemala  

Ana Montúfar Urrutia, 21, stands 5'8" and speaks Spanish and English. She studied Image Assessment in Spain and is a professional chef.

1. Miss Jamaica

Kaci Fennel, 22, is from Kingston, Jamaica. She stands 5'9" and speaks English. She started modelling at the age of 19 and is inspired by Jamaican beauty queen Sandra Foster, Miss World 3rd Runner-up.

Fennel is considered one of the strongest contenders of the 63rd Miss Universe pageant, which will be held at the FIU Arena atFlorida International University in Miami, Florida, according to Jamaica Observer. If she wins, she will be the first Miss Jamaica to win the title.
