The next episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 will see several members of the cast working diligently to find Abbie.
Returning for the second half of season 3 and now shifted from Thursday nights, "Sleepy Hollow" sees Ichabod Crane and the crew picking things up from Nov. 19, 2015 midseason apparently fatal finale. There is a flashback or two to the colonial period and a visit to a different dimension.
The mid season finale saw Abbie disappearing into a portal under the Pandora Tree. As a result, Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) and Joe (Zach Appelman) will work hard to look for her.
Cast members have shared some information concerning Abbie's disappearance. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Greenwood said, "We get to see these three characters really dealing with Abbie's disappearance in different ways. Basically all of their time has been taken up trying to deal with that confusion and loss."
"That's all she really has left as far as family," Greenwood added. "Well, family that she knows very well. So she is very concerned with getting her sister back. I like the fact that we are seeing this type of relationship represented in mainstream media."
According to Greenwood, they have two sisters of color that are both strong women that support each other. The sisters have gone through a lot, and they have nothing left but to support and love each other.
Abbie went through the portal so that she could save her sister Jenny, Joe, and Ichabod Crane. Therefore, Jenny will have a difficult time dealing with the absence of her sister.
Jenny will not be alone during her adventure to find Abbie. There are hints that she and Joe will be closer after the disappearance of Abbie. During the midseason finale, Joe professed her love for Jenny, which resulted into the two kissing. As a result, fans are excited to see their relationship will take them in the upcoming episode.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that on Feb. 5, Friday, the "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 return was down in terms of ratings by 44 percent as compared to the show's Season 2 return on Jan. 5, 2015, according to Deadline.
