"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder is reportedly having some problems with his wife Nikki Reed.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the couple's issues were borne out of Reed's sexy role in "Sleepy Hollow."
The publication claimed that Somerhalder wants his wife to accept more motherly roles to prepare them when they finally have children.
However, Reed is enjoying her time on FOX's "Sleepy Hollow," and will not listen to what her husband has to say.
Additionally, Somerhalder reportedly wants to settle down, have kids with the "Twilight" actress, but she's not ready to give up her career
Now, there are some rumors that the "The Vampire Diaries" actor is thinking about filing for a divorce.
According to Christian Post, fans are now speculating that Somerhalder might want to get back together with his ex-girlfriend Dobrev.
The publication noted that one of the reasons why Somerhalder ended his relationship with Dobrev was because the actress wasn't ready to have kids.
Since he's having the same problems with Reed, there are some speculations that Somerhalder simply wants to get back together with his former co-star.
Meanwhile, there were also rumors that Reed and Dobrev are awkward towards each other.
On Monday, both actresses were spotted at Elle Magazine's Women in Hollywood Awards event, and insiders claimed that the two avoided each other.
"This could be a hint that there is still bad blood between the two," the publication wrote.
As of late, Somerhalder, Reed and Dobrev have not yet confirmed or denied these rumors.
