Super Bowl 50 has been played and now the focus for NFL teams is the upcoming draft. This year several teams are looking towards the future at the quarterback position.

While some of the best NFL hopefuls will find themselves in another student role this coming season,  there are several candidates that could find themselves starting next season, Bleacher Report reported.

The first of these candidates is Jared Goff from California. Many experts believe that Goff is the best quarterback in this year's batch. Scouting reports are saying that he could go to the Cleveland Browns who are sitting at the second pick of the first round, according to USA Today.

It is not a secret that the Browns will be releasing Johnny Manziel after two sub-par seasons and several off the field problems. The former California Bear could see considerable playing time as the current projected starter Josh McCown ended last season on injured reserve with an injured shoulder.

The next candidate would be Paxton Lynch from Mephis. Lynch is projected to go to the Philadelphia Eagles who currently have the thirteenth pick in the first round.

New head coach Doug Pederson is looking for a new starter as it seems the team will not be resigning Sam Bradford for another year. The main reason for the possibility of Lynch seeing playing time next year is because of the erratic play of current possible starter Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez has been plagued by turnovers his entire career and could possibly be benched if the season turns sour for the Eagles.

The last potential candidate at quarterback is Carson Wentz from North Dakota State. Wentz is the wild card choice of the draft. While some experts are projecting him to go to Cleveland, there are some who think he could go to the Dallas Cowboys who currently have the fourth pick of the first round.

Again it is no secret that the Cowboys are looking for the future replacement for Tony Romo, who spent almost the entire 2015 season injured with a broken clavicle.

While the best case scenario is that Wentz spends the 2015 season behind the Cowboy's franchise quarterback, number 18 has spent a considerable time the past 5 seasons injured.
