"Supernatural" Season 11 is set to air a Valentine's Day-themed segment this week. Episode 13 is titled "Love Hurts" and it will see Sam (Jared Padelecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) investigate a series of murders that took place on Valentine's Day. In episode 12 "Don't Your Forget Me," the Winchester brothers were assigned a special case of three missing people by Claire Novak. Upon investigation, Sam and Dean discover that the case may involve some vampires and feeling of vengeance. However, Sam and Dean successfully punish the real culprit and manage to reunite Claire, Jodi and Alex as a happy family.
Meanwhile, the network has already released a synopsis for episode 13 teasing more action in the Valentine's Day-themed segment. According to Spoilersguide description for the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 11, fans can expect to watch another spine-chilling segment.
So what will Sam and Dean be doing on the day of love? The Winchester brothers will be battling against a deadly ancient curse. Sam and Dean will investigate a series of brutal murders in the town. Upon investigation, the brothers discover that it is an ancient curse that is killing people.
A promo video for "Supernatural" Season 11 gives of glimpse of the upcoming Valentine's Day-themed episode. It showcases how the young girl was murdered after her heart was ripped off from her chest.
"Was it like an ironic werewolf?" Dean asks Sam in the video. What follows after is an action-packed sequence with guns and gunshots. Scroll down to watch the promo video.
Meanwhile, "Supernatural" actor Jared Padelecki released an additional promo of the upcoming episode Twitter account. It teases a kiss and splattered blood.
