Cooper Hefner, son of "Playboy" founder Hugh Hefner, has been asked to stop attending board meetings after disagreeing with the decision to ban nudity from the famous gentleman's magazine.

Hefner had been billed as the international and domestic brand ambassador for the publication before he was told he was no longer required to attend board meetings, People reported.

When asked about the board's decision to ban him from meetings Hefner states that there is time to fight and a time to step back and see where everything leads to, E-Online reported.

The decision to ban all nudity in "Playboy" was made last Oct. 2015, and the news made headlines all around the world. The banning ends an era of nudity which began way back in 1953, when Marilyn Monroe first posed nude for the men's magazine.

Hefner stated that the banning is something that his father would not want and that it is disrespectful to the legacy of open sexuality that his father kick started.

Hefner goes on to say that it wasn't really the nudity that today's generation has an actual problem with. It is actually the way that the women and the nudity is portrayed that is the problem.

When asked about the banning, current Playboy CEO Scott Flanders stated that in this day and age most people are just a click away from any possible sexual act. Flanders goes on to say that the nudity and sexuality the magazine portrayed is simply passé at this point.

The era of "Playboy" having nudity in its print magazine ended in the January /February issue with cover girl Pamela Anderson.

Nudity, however, is not the only decision Hefner has problems with. Just recently the board has decided to put the famous Playboy Mansion up for sale.

While there are still no buyers for the famous house, it does come with a stipulation that Hefner's father Hugh will have the right to stay inside the mansion until he dies.

Since leaving the board Hefner has gone onto become the CEO of Hop Media, which is quoted as a brand made by Millennials for Millennials.
