When pride deters efforts to save the day, evil always prevails, and that could be the issue behind Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) preying upon the fears of rivals Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) and Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill).

The latest trailer for Warner Bros.' movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," slated to hit the theaters on March 25, was unveiled on Feb. 11, Thursday.

The DC Comic characters hold diverse notions when it comes to being a hero. Batman is set to be the Caped Crusader using his wealth to fund his intrepid endeavors, but Superman only chose to be the Man of Steel when no one was ready to take up the challenge, according to E! News. With the weight of the world being on their shoulders, the two superheroes lose track of what people really want - their protection.

It is not until a new villain surfaces that Batman and Superman choose to collaborate and take Doomsday down, and just in time, Gal Gadot emerges as Wonder Woman, according to a different report from the same publication.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" costs $200 million to develop in addition to stars like Lois Lane (Amy Adams), Martha Wayne (Lauren Cohan), and Thomas Wayne (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Other characters featued in Zack Snyder's blockbuster include Perry White (Fishburne), Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Senator Finch (Holly Hunte)r, Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons), Martha Kent (Diane Lane), General Swanwick (Harry Lennix), Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller), Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Mercy Graves (Tao Okamoto), among others.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will usher in several spinoffs from June 23, 2017 with Wonder Woman. Other slated launches include "Justice League: Part One" on Nov. 17, 2017, "The Flash" on March 23, 2018, "Aquaman" on July 27, 2018, "Justice league: Part Two" on June 14, 2019, and "Cyborg" on April 3, 2020. More movies may be announced in the hear future.
