There are speculations that in the "House of Cards" Season 4, Frank Underwood may be sentenced for Peter Russo's murder.

Netflix released the fourth season's official teaser recently, making the hype around the show grow stronger. The teaser shows a murder scene with the President in it, which may refer back to Peter Russo's murder in Season 2, according to BGR.

Fans will recall that "House of Cards" Season 3 concluded on a cliffhanger, which left them shocked. Claire Underwood was shown leaving her husband in an impulse and just storming off.

The Underwood's relationship hit rock bottom, which eventually ended up with the First Lady calling it quits. For the fourth season, the viewers are eager to know whether the power couple will patch things up or call for a divorce.

Apart from their failed relationship, the teaser also showed out a few details regarding the President's upcoming campaign and his meeting with his estranged wife. The teaser ends with a tagline which stated, "We had a future until you started to destroy it." It may refer to the impending divorce of the Underwoods, according to Today.

In addition to the amazing background score of the teaser, it was also full of numerous action scenes. "House of Cards" Season 4 is expected to have a few more murder scenes and death threats.

Meanwhile, there is a strong rumour stating that Neve Campbell will make a comeback to "House of Cards" as Kim Dickens.

It is further speculated that there will be a new guest characters who will join the fourth season of the show. The speculations say that Ellen Burstyn and Cicely Tyson may be new additions to the cast of the show.

The ratings of the third season were not that great, which fans left disappointed as it had a weak story line. However, the showrunners are leaving no stone unturned to make the upcoming season stand out.

The political drama series is all set to make a comeback in less than a month, on March 4.
