Rumor mills went into a meltdown following the announcement of "Final Fantasy 7" remake last year. There have been increased speculations about the way the game was being redesigned and how the final version would look like.

Fans got a glimpse of some of the characters who would be featuring in the upcoming remake during the New York Toy Fair. Most gamers were left very happy with what they saw.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, although developers gave a small glimpse of what was in store for "Final Fantasy 7" remake, it was sufficient to sustain the interest of gamers high. With regard to the specifics of the toys, game developers concentrated on two main characters in the game - Cloud and Barrett.

Most importantly, the two toys seemed to be graved out when they were displayed in the fair, which left many speculating that they were just prototypes and not fully completed versions. Once the development of the toys for the characters Cloud and Barrett are finished, it is likely that they would be painted to mimic their costume in the game.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake has spurred many chatters and rumors online since its announcement. Most gaming industry critics have as well come in to dissect what should be incorporated in the upcoming game to make it successful. They have been wondering whether the multi-part series system, which was teased by developer Square Enix, will be effective.

On the other hand, some have stressed that adopting the episodic format was the best option for the game, essentially since it will allow the developer company to fully explore the setting to the game, its mythology, and not end up with a big RPG game that goes beyond 100 hours, according to Games Radar.

With the game coming in much improved graphics as compared to the original game, it is likely that the enhancements will be bigger and they have already been highlighted by different industry analysts.
