Nina Dobrev was seen partying with Chace Crawford soon after her breakup with Austin Stowell. Reports suggest that the former "Vampire Diaries" co-stars were spotted hanging out together not too long after the news about Dobrev's split with Stowell surfaced.
According to E!Online, Dobrev and Crawford hung out at a West Hollywood bar on Tuesday. They arrived at Villa Lounge bar and walked together to the Bootsy Bellows nightclub.
Dobrev and Crawford have known each other for a long time. The two have worked together in "The Vampire Diaries." This is not the first time the actress hung out with Crawford. Per the publication, the duo spent their Thanksgiving together in 2014 and 2015. At the time, they were accompanied by more friends, such as Crawford's sister Candice and her husband Tony Romo.
Speculations are running rampant. However, a source told the abovementioned website that Dobrev and Crawford are "just friends."
According to the Hollywood Life, the news surfaced "just hours after" the reports about Dobrev and Stowell's breakup came out. The celebrity gossip and fashion news publication is speculating if Crawford is her "new man." However, the reports lack official comments from the associated persons. Thus it should be considered a mere rumour.
In its previous report, E!News confirmed that Dobrev and Stowell have parted ways after dating each other for seven months.
A source told the publication that the split happened because of the actors' busy schedules. "It started to get hard with both of their schedules. Austin was filming a lot and in the past month, they barely saw each other," the source claimed.
Rest assured, Dobrev and Stowell are on friendly terms after the breakup. It is said that the multiple sources suggest that the couple called it quits sometime around late January to early February. Stowell's absence from Super Bowl 50 instigated split rumours. In addition, the actress confirmed celebrating Valentine's Day with her girlfriends where Stowell was not present. She even shared a photo, which she captioned: "Sunday Funday
#HappyGALentinesDays"
