A lot is in store for enthusiasts of the classic game "Pokemon." In line with their celebration is the upcoming launch of "Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow." Since Pokemon company is celebrating their 20th year this 2016, updates, releases and other surprises are awaiting Pokemon fans.
"Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow" is a monochromatic game, an original Game Boy game that has captured the interest of many children way back 1990's. This coming Feb. 27, "Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow" will be launched in Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. "Pokemons Blue and Red" are pretty much alike with their original version, but "Pokemon Yellow" comes with significant changes, updates and additional contents.
To give a glimpse of what enthusiasts can expect with this release, Nintendo UK initiated a new trailer. All three games would showcase their monochromatic graphics reign, but "Pokemon Yellow" will surely be more noticeable because of the enhancements developers put into it.
The latest Pokemon game series is incomparable to its original monochrome design. This launch is a perfect way for new generation players to explore and experience where Pokemon games began. For all-time avid fans, going back to where it all started would be so much fun. Although players may find it hard to navigate and play the game again, this is certainly a fun way to experience what Game Boy games are like before technology enhanced all these years, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.
Through the game, each Kanto region has a Gym leader waiting to be defeated by the player. Other types of battle would also be encountered along the quest, including catching virtual creatures. The original version of the game challenges each player to get all breeds of Pokemon that are divided into three editions, Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. All Pokemon breeds have a total of 151. Players need to collect creatures and trade it to other players to be able to form the complete set.
One of the significant differences between the original version to the 3DS version is that players can fight and trade using wireless connection between two Nintendo 3DS'. The old version needs to use Game Boy's Link Cable to be able to trade creatures and fight with other trainers, Digital Trends reported.
