It added that with the recent releases of "Resident Evil" and "Resident Evil 0," the games got an opportunity to play through the origins stories. While the company has also confirmed a remake of "Resident Evil 2," now they plan to introduce new epic gaming moments with the re-release of "Resident Evil" 4, 5 and 6.

Capcom will begin the celebration of the franchise's 20th anniversary with the re-release of "Resident Evil 6" on March 29. This will be followed by the re-release of "Resident Evil 5" in summer 2016 while "Resident Evil 4" will arrive in fall 2016, Gaming-Age reported.

The developer has confirmed that all the new releases will be priced at $19.99 each, for both physical units as well as digital versions. In fact, the new releases will be better looking versions of the original "Resident Evil" titles, together with additional content and a few tweaks.

"These series staples and new characters face a global C-virus outbreak that's threatening to destroy the world. In addition to all the story campaigns, RE6 includes a variety of multiplayer modes that vary up the action," Capcom stated.

The new releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will also include all the available content from "Resident Evil 6," including Siege Mode, Predator Mode, Survivor Mode, Onslaught Mode, The Mercenaries maps, ResidentEvil.net costumes and other Extra Content modes.
