Harvey is desperate. He wants to save the prodigy kid Mike from going to jail. "Suits" Season 5 finale promo trailer also focuses on Harvey trying to convince Mike that it is on him (Harvey).

In "Suits" Season 5, episode 16 promo video, Mike tells Harvey that it is over, he is pointing at that he would be going to prison. However, Harvey thinks that all the options are not yet exhausted.

Like a desperate man, Harvey is trying his best. Gabriel Macht (Harvey) talked to Yahoo TV after the telecast "Suits" Season 5, episode 15, "Tick Tock." Macht was asked about the last scene when he was running into Gibbs' office.
"Throughout the episode, Harvey is doing anything he can to keep his head above the water. It almost feels like he's drowning in guilt, and he's trying to figure out anything that he can do to make sure that either Mike is found not guilty or there's a mistrial. Mike and Harvey are feeling equally guilty - Harvey for giving Mike the job in the first place, and Mike for taking the job," Macht said.
He also revealed that there were bloopers while they were shooting the running scenes. The actor banged into one of the cameras during the shoot as he ran straight into it.
Macht explained that he could not have done justice to the scene if no risks were involved. He added that the stakes were high.
Macht also talked about how he felt about the finale script.
"There was one scene where it was an outcome of a huge event, and after speaking with Meghan Markle, we agreed that it should go a different way. We all convinced [creator Aaron Korsh] that the way to go was different from what he wrote [although it was an idea he'd originally had in mind]. We were all really excited to see that happen because we think it's better for the show, better for some of the characters, more dramatic. So we'll see what happens there."
