Powerhouse squad Atletico Madrid (18-4-4, 58 points) and middling team Real Sociedad (9-10-7, 34 points) will face each other in a 2015-2016 La Liga season game at the Vicente Calderon Stadium on Tuesday, March 1st.
Atleti is coming off a huge 1-0 victory over neighborhood rivals Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium last Saturday, as reported by SkySports.
Diego Simeone's boys "became the first team in La Liga history to win three games in a row" at Los Blancos' home stadium, according to the report.
French striker Antoine Griezmann netted the winner for Los Colchoneros at the 53rd minute of the match to grab the three points and separate themselves further away from their capital city rivals in the league table.

The team lived up to its billing by blanking a high-scoring team like Los Vikingos even with goalscorers Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Isco, and James Rodriguez all present in the pitch.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad forced Malaga CF into a 1-1 draw at their home field of Anoeta Stadium also last Saturday, as per ESPN.
After both teams went goalless in the first of the match, Malaga forward Duje Cop opened the scoring at the 56th minute with a short range right-footed shot that escaped the hands of La Real goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.
However, Eusebio Sacristán's men did not surrender and found a way to level the game, courtesy of a goal from Spanish striker Imanol Agirretxe nine minutes before full time off an assist by team captain Xabi Prieto.
The draw was the team's first after four straight victories, which lifted them up to the ninth spot of the league table.
The predicted result is a lopsided 3-0 win for Atletico Madrid. The team will start a new winning run after being forced into a goalless draw by Villarreal prior to their win at the Bernabéu.
