"Suits" Season 5 finale aired on March 2, Wednesday, on cable network USA with the episode titled "25th Hour." In the episode, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) entered a white collar prison after taking responsibility for his crimes.

In "25th Hour," Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) exerted last-ditch efforts to save Mike. However, his efforts were not enough.

Mike also aborted his plan to marry Rachel so that she could realize her dream of becoming a lawyer one day and the decision was made at the last minute. Now that Mike is in jail, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) is ready to give the information away to Anita Gibbs (Leslie Hope).

Fans wonder is Harvey can still save the career of his protégé in "Suits" Season 6. Otherwise, the firm will lose its best lawyer.

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, "Suits" showrunner Aaron Korsh said Season 6is "really about moving forward." Several questions will be answered, he said, including how Mike will handle life in a new environment and the kind of toll it will take on his relationships.

"As for the other five, what happens when the two pillars of their existence, Mike and the firm, have been knocked out?" Korsh added. "Will they regroup and band together and overcome or are they going to go their separate ways? Basically, how will they respond to this gut punch that's ripped them apart."

In another interview with TV Line, Korsh revealed that there will be new characters, a return to some humor and a new setting in the upcoming sixth season. He said they hope that new life has been breathed into the series.

Korsh confirmed that there will be no time jump as the start of Season 6. He explained that they will pick up "that very night, and the entire episode, as it currently stands, takes place that night."

According to Korsh, the start of Season 6 is "sort of a back and forth" between the first night dealing with coming back to an empty firm and Mike's first night in jail. He also assured fans that Mike will not die in prison.
