The MacBook Pro 2016 may release in the coming week as 15-inch MacBook Pro 2015 receives a big discount.

B&H Photo, an authorized Apple reseller, is currently offering the 2015 15-inch MacBook Pro (M370X, 512GB, 2.5GHz) for $2,199.00. The initial price of the device is $2,499.

Also, B&H Photo is offering the entry level MacBook Pro (256GB, 16GB, 2.2GHz) for $1,799.00. The initial price of the device is $1,999.

Meanwhile, MacBook Pro 2016 may release next week. Several reports suggest that Apple will host a big event between March 15 to 21.

It is expected that the tech giant Apple will install a strong battery in its upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. The new device will have Broadwell-Y Core M processor together with 16 GB or 8GB 1600 MHz LPDDR3 and Intel HD Graphics 5300. Also, it will have a headphone jack and a USB-Type C port.

The device will have a new force-sensing trackpad and Retina display. Retina display will enhance the color quality. Also, owners will be able to get a 178-degree view of the screen via the IPS technology of the MacBook Pro 2016.

Reports also suggest that the Apple device will be powered by quad-core and dual-core Intel processors. Rumors are doing the rounds that the new MacBook Pro will be solar powered. The Cupertino-based company will use this technology in many forthcoming laptops and notebooks.

However, Apple has not confirmed this information.

There are speculations that the company may launch a 12-inch version of the device alongside the 15 inch and 13 inch versions. Various reports suggest that the 13 inch MacBook Pro 2016 will have a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and the 15 inch MacBook Pro 2016 will have a screen resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels.

The upcoming MacBook Pro is rumored to carry a price tag between $1,299 to $1,799.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Apple will also release the new MacBook Air this year.

The device will be thinner compared to its predecessor. According to reports, MacBook Air 2016 will be equipped with Intel's Skylake Processor.
