"Uncharted 4" lead character Nathan Drake shared many facts about the title in the second part of the game's making-of series. The first part centered on how the studio's previous games heavily influenced the "Uncharted" series.

"Uncharted 4" shows how years of exploring ancient temples have left Nathan Drake more aged. However, Naughty Dog revealed that there have been more to the passing years than the simple flow of time. The video revealed that the reason gamers see many middle-aged game heroes these days are that the developers are also getting older.

Naturally, younger people are entering the field, but game development has turned into a much more established career path now than it is 15 years ago, Games Radar reported.

"Uncharted 4's" game protagonist has been rumored to be voiced by various actors such as "Tangled" Zachary Levi who has been considered because of his funny and athletic demeanor. Levi has played Chuck Bartowski on NBC for years. The advantage of the character was that his brain power was real. Nathan Drake himself is an autodidact, which means that he has self-taught himself.

Another bet is "Pretty Little Liars" Nolan North who has performed as Nathan Drake before. Many fans pointed out that his work has shaped the character the most. Fans have also been adamant that he will play the role that had become iconic because of his past performances.

The next candidate is Brandon Routh who has had the right physique since portraying the character of Atom for "Arrow." His portrayal of a romantic, old, snarky adventurer has been very close to the character of Nathan Drake. Another fan favorite has been "Guardians of the Galaxy" Nathan Fillion whose charm and amount of range makes him a perfect fit for the role's pedigree.

"Uncharted 4" has also been rumored to hire Jensen Ackles for the role, who has had the best balance of sarcasm and ruggedness which is similar to Nathan Drake. For over a decade, Ackles has been playing characters who are proficient in arcane languages, fantasy jargon, investigation, research, and weapon usage. He has had the same range in physical transformation and the same appeal within the geek culture.

"Uncharted 4" fans have reportedly agreed that his talents lean closer to Nathan Drake than any other candidate, Escapist Magazine reported.
