Following a couple of months of relative silence and rumors swirling around the episodic Batman game, Telltale Games has finally shed some light on the gameplay current in-development details.

In a post on Telltale Games' official blog site, it was noted that the upcoming game will be simply titled "Batman: A Telltale Game Series." Adding that the company's adaptation will be different to any other "Batman" game in the business sector, as it will apparently highlight fresh storylines based on the interpretation of the universe set in the current times.

Telltale Games' CEO Kevin Bruner, while speaking to Kotaku, guaranteed fans and players worldwide by saying that the upcoming episodic "Batman" game would explore all aspects of Marvel's superhero that would greatly affect the entire storyline of the game. However, the big boss then conceded that he cannot go into much details of the game.

"Our 'Batman' series is looking fantastic. I think it might become one of the best things we've ever done," said Bruner. "It's not like any other batman game out there."

The game will reportedly be landing at M (17+) rating while its cinematic methodology will be more probable to an R-rated film. Another interesting feature is the presence of some familiar characters such as Vicki Vale, James Gordon, Renee Montoya and Alfred Pennyworth. However, any details about the game's menacing miscreant were being kept under wraps to keep fans' excitement flowing.

Game players across the globe will not have to wait too long, as the team behind "Batman: The Telltale Series" was happy to confirm that the game will undoubtedly meet its summer 2016 release window. The player's will reportedly assume a big role in the game as its respective activities will slowly shape the Gotham City that Bruce Wayne deals with amid the daylight and as well as the criminals that Batman faces at night.
