It has been officially confirmed that "Frozen 2" is going to happen. In a recent interview with MTV, "Frozen" star Kristin Bell disclosed that the sequel is set to begin next month and that it will be worth the wait, despite the fact that it has been more than three years since the original premiere.

According to Teen Vogue, filming is set to begin officially in April. However, "Frozen 2" is not going to embrace some of the elements of the first movie. Specifically, the hit track song from the "Frozen" movie "Let It Go" may not get featured and, as Bell suggests, there might be no duet happening after all.

Speculations have been symptomatic of a duet song between Anna and Elsa, but it looks like Disney does not want to choose a song over success. "Let It Go" from the original "Frozen" movie became an instant hit, took a position among the top five popular boards, and received a significant number of awards.

The song was written by Kristen Anderson and Robert Lopez and was performed by Demi Lovato, after which many versions and covers came about. It sold over 10 million copies by 2014 and earned an Academy Award for the best original song of 2014, not mentioning another Grammy Award for the best song designed for Visual Media in 2015. What is more, it got nominated for the golden globes.

"Let It Go" exhibited the free spirit of Elsa and her option to execute her magic power with free will. Bell, who voiced the character of Anna, revealed that she will start working on the second sequel with Idina Menzel (Queen Elsa). She also told Collider that the "Frozen" sequel took a longer time to get developed because Disney wanted to come up with a better thrilling story.

Additionally, she stated that the script is already quite done and that the original production team will again be back for the second round. Nobody has, however, confirmed when the movie may be coming out yet.

Meanwhile, as fans wait for "Frozen 2," Bell will be playing a role in another film dubbed "The Boss," when it comes out on April 8.
