Key specs for the OnePlus 3 Android smartphone leaked out this week and report said that release date of the device, regarded as a flagship killer, could happen as early as April, at least for buyers in China. And the revealed details so far indicate that the upcoming handset, in case Google would consider, is rock-solid as a Nexus 2016 base-model.
An updated report by China-focused tech blog site GizmoChina said that the OnePlus 3 is likely to be officially revealed April 7 and part of the unpacking is the intro of the new HydrogenOS build or the version of Android that will run the device. If the forecast will prove accurate, OnePlus 3 will drop first for Chinese buyers then the rest of Asia. There was no mention on when exactly the device will hit the United States.
All the same, the specs permitted to be glimpsed, claimed to be an AnTuTu benchmark result, boast of the same qualities that earned OnePlus the flagship killer label. Many Android fans are even convinced that Google searching for the best device to pattern the Nexus 2016 after should not look beyond the third OnePlus.
