New details for "Resident Evil 6" on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will feature "No Mercy" mode and the game's frame rate in the new consoles.

Capcom launched "Resident Evil 6" this week for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles as part of their marketing for the "Resident Evil" franchise. "Resident Evil 6" will feature all of the maps and DLCs that are featured from the original PS3 and Xbox 360 such as "Siege Mode", "Predator Mode", "Survivor Mode", "Onslaught Mode", and extra maps for "The Mercenaries".

One of the new features in "Resident Evil 6" in PS4 and Xbox One versions is the inclusion of "No Mercy" mode which is only available in the PC version of the game. "No Mercy" will feature hordes of enemy units coming after the players making it difficult for them kill or even escape them due to the increasing numbers. A gameplay video of "No Mercy" was posted by YouTube username TenFour16 showcases how difficult that game mode is on the PS4, Xbox One consoles, WCCFTech reported.

In other news, Capcom stated that "Resident Evil 6" will run at 1080p and and frame rate od 60fps for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles when its release this week. It will somehow match the visual fidelity of the PC version. in addition, Capcom added that the FOV for "Resident Evil 6" has been improved for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, GearNuke reported.

"Resident Evil 6" will feature seven playable characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Helena Harper, Chris Redfield, Piers Nivans, Sherry Birkin, Jake Muller and Ada Wong. The game is divided into four scenarios as a new deadly virus called the C-Virus has been wreaking havoc in the United States and other countries such as Europe and China, A new bio terrorist group led by Derek C. Simmons and Carla Radames will use the C-Virus for their own personal gain and heroes must stop them before its too late. The original game was release in October 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox One consoles, while the PC version was release in March 2013.

Capcom has recently celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the "Resident Evil" franchise as they promise gaming fans that they will continue to improve and make more games to prolonged the legacy it has made in video game history.

For now, Capcom is currently developing the "Resident Evil" spin-off, "Umbrella Corps" for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms, as the "Resident Evil 5" will launch on the summer and "Resident Evil 4" at the fall this year for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
