In the teaser released by The CW for "Versus Zoom," a flashback from Hunter's childhood could be seen.

The clip also revealed that Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) is the first to find out about Zoom's real name.

"How many people have you killed?" Barry asks Zoom.

"No I don't," he replied.

"His name is Hunter Zolomon," Caitlin tells Barry.

"He's a convicted serial killer," Dr. Harrison Wells added.

The next scene showed Barry plotting his moves on how to kill Zoom.

"I'm faster than I've ever been. I can take him down."

However, by the looks of it, Barry's life will be in great danger when he tries to get rid of Zoom.

According to Comicbook, the villainous character gained his powers after he was suffered from an electrocution several years ago.

Meanwhile, "The Flash" season 2 will go on a short hiatus, and will return with episode 18 next month.

In other news, "The Flash" season 2 aired its 17th episode on Tuesday night that unveiled five exciting developments in relations to the lives of Barry and his team.

According to Game Spot, a new deadly force also known as Time Wraith appeared on the show. Eobard Thawne explained, "Time Wraith follows someone who travels through time and doesn't know what they're doing."

With this, Barry and his team will have to travel back in time on purpose this time around.

Also, Barry and Thawne's recent encounter served as a huge highlight for the show.

"Allen tries his best to give away he's from the future, by getting his past self out of the way and not letting his companions know what's coming down the line. However, Thawne is extremely intelligent and knows something is wrong, so he knocks Allen out and handcuffs him."

"The Flash" season 2, episode 18 will return to The CW on Apr. 19 at 8 p.m. ET.
