While Nintendo has been mum about the upcoming "Pokémon Sun and Moon" slated for a release later this year, it seems fans will not have to wait for the April 15 CoroCoro issue to get an update. Latest reports indicate that gamers will have their first view of the Pokémon titles on Sunday, April 3.

Pokémon fansite Serebii.net unveiled that the first footage of "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" would be shown on Japanese variety show "Gathering at the Pokémon House," according to Gamespot. A few guests have been invited to speak during the event about the coming titles, including battle director Shigeki Morimoto, series director Junichi Masuda, and Shigeru Ohmori who directed "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire."

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" were leaked when Nintendo's trademarks for the games were spotted on the European Union's Office for Harmonization website in the Internal Market. The two titles were then officially announced the following day in a Nintendo Direct presentation to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the franchise.

Not much is known concerning the titles but it is believed that Pokémon Magearna will feature in the two games. Furthermore, it was reported that "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" will release with the support for nine languages, including French, English, German, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Korean, and for the first time, traditional and simplified Chinese.

After the release of the games, users will use Pokémon Bank in the titles. As a result, gamer will transfer Pokémon that they would have caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of "Pokémon Red," "Pokémon Blue," and "Pokémon Yellow" into their copy of the new titles. Similarly, gamers can bring Pokémon from "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokémon X," and "Pokémon Y" into "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon."

Additionally, concept art was unveiled during the initial announcement showing that Pokémon Centers and Poke Marts would get updates to their respective designs. There was also an abundance of vehicles in the concept art including pickup trucks, fire engines, and ambulances, some of which were ridden by Pokémon, according to IGN.
