The Boston Celtics are in a position to make blockbuster deals in the next off-season as they boast a plethora of young talents and valuable draft picks. In fact, GM Danny Ainge is very vocal on landing a superstar talent like DeMarcus Cousins a few months ago.

The Celtics possess the Brooklyn Nets' 1st round pick this year, which is projected to go in the top five, giving them the chance to draft highly regarded prospects like Ben Simmons from LSU, Brandon Ingram of Duke, Oklahoma's Buddy Hield and point guard Kris Dunn from Providence.

Moreover, their current roster is filled with young and valuable talents like All-Star Isaiah Thomas Jr., Marcus Smart and Jared Sullinger among others. Given that long list of assets, they can make a run for a bonafide star that they have been searching for quite some time now.

One of the names being thrown out in the trade rumor mill is Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love, Sportsrageous reported. The website stated that the situation of Love inside the Cavs locker room is not getting any better and should they lose once again in this year's playoffs, it is most likely that Love will be shipped in the off-season.

"If they lose again, I'd bet big on Love being elsewhere - a split that might end up the best thing for everyone," writer Zach Lowe of ESPN stated in his article.

Another talent that the Celtics might make a move on is troubled LA Lakers rookie, D'Angelo Russell. The 2nd overall pick of last year's draft is hounded by controversies after his prank on teammate Nick Young has gone horribly wrong.

Right now, Russell's reputation is at an all-time low due to the incident where he leaked a video of Young confessing that he had an affair with a girl 10 years younger than him. Hence, the Lakers might try to deal him as they have expressed their dismay on the rookie's action plus he is already being isolated by his teammates.

"All those picks and young players Boston has, they could probably put a package together that would at least pique the Lakers' interest," a league executive told CSNNE.com. "But do the Lakers want to move him over something like this? I don't think so. But hey, stranger things have happened."

The video below is the leaked private conversation between Young and Russell.
