After battling against werewolves in "Supernatural" season 11's previous episode, Sam and Dean will be back on the series' 18th episode to face new challenges against returning enemies.

"Supernatural" season 11 episode 17 focused more on winning against the werewolves as well as Sam's survival after getting shot by one of the werewolves, while the upcoming "Supernatural" season 11 episode 18, titled "Hell's Angel," may showcase the beginning of a legendary battle for power between the good side and the bad side. It is said that forthcoming episode 18's focal point is to suppress the ancient time creature The Darkness, oftentimes called as Amara, which will be portrayed by Emily Swallow.

There was a hint that Crowley, played by Mark A. Sheppard, might be one of the unexpected backups that the Winchester brothers may come across. Although Crowley has a reputation to be untrustworthy as he keeps on switching allies from the good to the evil sides, this time, he's fighting for the benefit of both sides. The Darkness is said to be a threat to both the good side and those living in the bad side of the world.

Lucifer, played by Misha Collins, will also try to conquer Heaven but was unsuccessful, and that is where the Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, will hear out to Crowley who is on a mission to stop Amara from fulfilling her plans, Spoilers Guide reported.

It should be noted that Amara destroyed a church in previous episodes, as well as the people who are celebrating in that church, because she does not believe in religion. Her perception on religion is something that is dictated, and it appears to her that religion is somewhat taking control of the individuals who believes in it, MNR Daily reported.

The series gets more and more exciting and thrilling as it comes close to its season finale. Supernatural writers are challenged as to how they will be able to sustain the intensity of the coming episodes, along with creating a memorable season-ender.

"Supernatural" season 11 episode 18 "Hell's Angel" will be shown in CW on April 6, Wednesday, at 9PM.
