"Awkward" season 5, episode 16 will see Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) have another huge falling out.
In "Best Friends for Never," Jenna will invite Tamara to join Idea Bin with her so that she can have a go-to person from the group.
The previous episodes revealed that Jenna is still pretty much the same outcast that she was back in high school.
However, her decision to tag Tamara along with her may have serious consequences.
According to the synopsis released by MTV for episode 16, Jenna will ask Tamara to apply for an internship at Idea Bin, and she will instantly get in.
However, it wouldn't take the lead character very long to realize that working with friends can be a recipe for disaster.
As of late, it is still unclear what exactly will cause the two female characters' falling out. However, there are some speculations that Jenna will be jealous of the fact that Tamara didn't a very long time to fit in with the other members of Idea Bin.
Meanwhile, the network also released a teaser for the upcoming episode which revealed that Tamara will apply as an ad sales intern at the company.
"We need an ads sales intern ASAP," Jenna told her.
The next scene showed Tamara freaking out of her excitement upon learning that she got the job.
"OMG I got the job!!! We'll get to work together which is great," she told Jenna ecstatically.
The next scene showed Tamara having the best time of her life at Idea Bin, and making friends with almost all of the other interns and employees.
Jenna, on the other hand, feels left out because no one has still given her that much attention considering she's been with the company for a much longer period of time.
"Awkward" season 5, episode 16 will also see Matty (Beau Mirchoff) talking to Jenna's mom Lacey (Nikki DeLoach) about being a jerk to the latter's daughter.
Lacey will also urge Matty to stick around for a while so that he wil have the chance to talk to his ex-girlfriend.
"Awkward" season 5, episode 16 will air on MTV on April 5 at 10 p.m. ET.
