The upcoming model of Google Nexus 7 2016 is one of the most highly speculated tablets. It is rumoured to be equipped with the upcoming Android software, which is Android N.

The device is expected to be released later this year. Moreover, it is slated to become the first device to run on Android N. The tablet, which will be launched with Android N out of the box, is rumoured will be focussing on the section of users who want multi-tasking features in the device, according to BGR. With this tablet, the users will be able to enjoy executing different projects at the same time.

The upcoming model of Nexus 7 2016 is speculated to be inspired from the recently released Google Pixel C tablet. It will be equipped with Huawei's Kirin 950 chipset along with a screen display of 7 inches. The screen resolution of the device will be 2,560 x 1,800 pixels. It will also be armed with an Nvidia Tegra X1 processor. The device may be manufactured by Huawei or LG.

In a twist of tale, it is strongly rumoured that the Taiwanese tech giant Huawei is planning to release its own version of a Nexus 7 tablet as well. This launch is expected to take place during this year's Google I/O Conference, which will be held in May. If this is true, there will be two devices in the market releasing at almost the same time and with almost the same configuration, along with the same manufacturer.

The tech experts have a reason to believe that Google Nexus 7 2016 is more likely to hold the market in comparison with Huawei's take on this device, according to Green Bot. However, the Huawei devices are known to be priced at a much lower range in comparison with the Google devices. This angle may work in their favour in capturing the market share.

The current model of Nexus 7 tablet was released back in 2013. The 16 GB version is currently available for $100 on GroupOn, which was slashed from $124. The price cuts make it evident that the successor's release is in the immediate pipeline.
