"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 episode 18 is titled "There's a Fine, Fine Line" and it airs at 8:00 pm on ABC. It is followed by episode 19 titled "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" at 9:00 pm.

The network has released the synopsis for the upcoming episodes on its official website revealing the plot details. According to the description for episode 18 "There's a Fine, Fine Line," Ben breaks the hospital rules again. A child goes missing in the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, which leads to an emergency lockdown. Despite the lockdown, Ben decides to perform a surgery on a pregnant mother. Even though Ben does not have a proper surgical equipment, he goes forward with the procedure that involves risks.

The news reaches his wife, who also happens to be the Chief, pushing her to make difficult decisions. She is forced to deal with the repercussions of Ben's actions.

This is not the first time Ben violates the hospital rules. Previously, in episode 13, when Ben operated a patient in the psych ward without proper equipment, Bailey was forced to suspend him. What will Bailey do this time?

Moving on to episode 19 "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)." According to the synopsis, Miranda is still struggling to deal with Ben's recent actions. So she decides to form an advisory committee to implement a suitable disciplinary action against Ben. This is bound to impact Ben and Bailey's relationship.

Speaking to Yahoo, "Grey's Anatomy" star Jason George, who plays the role of Ben, talked about Ben's situation and his recent actions. "...the reality is Ben has had years as an anesthesiologist, he's been watching surgeons forever, and he's a rock star resident," George said.

"He's the guy that Webber picked. On paper, he's the man, except for the fact that his wife is his boss, and it gets weird. So, when he screws up or when he goes rogue, it's not a regular resident doing it. Ben has a comfort level that comes from years of working as a doctor, but not necessarily the experience that comes with years of working as a surgeon. So, that's a cool push-pull thing," he explained.

In addition, the show will delve deeper into April and Jackson's storyline. The former couple tries resolve their differences and reconcile for their baby. Meanwhile, Arizona does something that leads to irreversible damage to her relationship with Callie.
