Spider-Man and Peter Parker will have more than just a cameo appearance in "Captain America: Civil War." The screen time for each character is far from being called a cameo since each get more than 5 minutes out of the film's run time.
Spider-Man marks his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an appearance in "Captain America: Civil War." It has been reported that he only gets a cameo in the movie and that quick reveal of Spider-Man in the trailer somehow cemented this report.
However, Mike Sampson from Screen Crush revealed that Peter Parker and Spider-Man each have different screen times. A fan asked on Twitter whether it is true that as a whole the character gets 30 minutes of exposure in "Captain America: Civil War." Sampson tweeted back and said Spider-Man has 20 minutes while Peter Parker has 10 minutes of screen time.
Sampson declined to reveal any more details about Spider-Man or Peter Parker's appearance in the film, because Marvel Entertainment recently declared an embargo on spoilers until April 13. But he did mention in another tweet that Spider-Man steals the show in the movie.

"Captain America: Civil War" directors and brothers Joe and Anthony Russo previously talked about Spider-Man's appearance in the film in an interview with Forbes. Joe promised that fans will be delighted to see the web crawler in the movie, because he reportedly has a very interesting role to play. Anthony chimed in and revealed what makes the movie fun with Spider-Man in it.
"Part of the fun of Spider-Man is that this film is basically a war amongst the Avengers and Spidey does not have the baggage that all these other characters have," he said.
Anthony also hinted when Spider-Man will make his appearance in the film. He told the publication that Spider-Man enters the story after the conflict that is happening between the Avengers is over. This setup reportedly gives the character a unique place in the story.
Anthony did not expound on his statements and did not explain what this "baggage" the Avengers have. However, it is interesting to point out what Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, previously said about his character.
According to Superhero Hype, the actor said in "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man's secret identity is still intact. No one knows yet that he is Peter Parker under the mask. Perhaps this baggage the Avengers have is their identities, since the government already knows they have super powers. This would create conflict in the team, especially if the government implements the Superhuman Registration Act and Team Cap is against the mandate unlike Team Iron Man.
