"Attack on Titan" manga will now have its next English chapters released on the same day as the Japanese versions. This means that all "Attack on Titan" releases will be available outside Japan on the same day they launch in the aforementioned country.

"Attack on Titan" fans will no longer have to wait for weeks or months for English versions of the manga to get officially released. Rather, fans will start reading the released chapters as early as they are unveiled in Japan, and this is starting as early as this week, Engadget reported.

All these good news coming to "Attack on Titan" fans are fruits of a partnership between ComiXology and Amazon. As reports reveal, the manga's publisher Kodansha has teamed up with the two partners to ensure that fans download the latest chapters every week as soon as they are out, either in the Kindle or comiXology app.

Fans have an option of even buying all the previous chapters in a full collection if they want. The simultaneous release of the series, however, will start with "Attack on Titan" chapter 80, which is the latest chapter in Hajime Isayama's manga.

The general manager at Kodansha Advanced Media Alvin Lu said in a press release that a simul-pub initiative has never been done in the same way before, as it was done by ComiXology and Amazon. He also said that the collaboration will connect the global readership for "Attack on Titan" at a level never experienced before.

ComiXology's Senior Director of communication Chip Mosher also expressed his excitement, saying that he was happy with the collaboration, and the fact that they would cut the wait time for English-speaking manga fans. Apart from "Attack on Titan," 17 other Kodansha titles will soon get released in English versions in the same way.

Some of them include "Space Brothers," "Fairy Tale," and "The Seven Deadly Sins." The prices for the chapters currently range from $0.99 to $1.99, depending on the manga. "Attack on Titan" chapters are always priced at $1.99.

Critics claim that the global simul-pub release of the manga will help fans drift their attention from "Attack on Titan" Season 2 anime, which has yet to get a release date.
