"Scorpion" season 3 has just been renewed by CBS.
According to Release Date, the TV series that premiered in September 2014 was renewed for a third season last month.
"Scorpion" revolves around a group of geniuses who are tasked to engage and solve different missions. Led by Agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick), the team receives orders from him.
The team is made up of Walter (Elyes Gabel), Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Sylvester (Ari Stidham). Another member of the team is Paige (Katharine McPhee). The latter is not considered a genius, but she has her own way of solving problems with the use of her heart.
As of late, it is still unclear when exactly "Scorpion" season 3 will premiere. If it will follow the schedule from the first two seasons, the series will commence sometime this September.
Meanwhile, there are some rumors that the upcoming season of "Scorpion" could be its last. Some fans believe that the storylines for the hit CBS show is starting to become predictable.
If anything, the only exciting storyline at the moment has to do with Walter and Paige's love story and whether or not it can progress into an actual relationship.
On Monday night's episode, Walter came to realization that he may not really be interested in dating a woman named Linda.
His good friend Toby told him that he could just be tricking himself into liking Linda because he feels that Paige has already moved on with her new friend Tim (Scott Porter).
While talking to each other, Paige approached the two male characters with a tumbler in her hand. Walter noted something about the tumbler, and he was surprised to find out that it was from Tim.
In the upcoming episode, Walter will prove that he's actually worthy of Paige. When the latter gets trapped in Chernobyl with Sylvester, Walter will come to their rescue.
The teaser for the episode showed Paige lying on top of Walter. By the looks of it, the two fell down on the ground and Walter caught Paige just in time.
"Scorpion" season 2, episode 23 will air on CBS on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET.
