The avid followers of AMC's "The Walking Dead" are clearly left frustrated after seeing the recent finale of the show's sixth season. It was quite devastating for the fans not to know the character which Negan smashed using his baseball bat. This is the reason why fans have resorted to various theories relating to the possible victim of Negan, to somehow fill their severe curiosity.

It is highly possible that a long list of theories about the victim's identity will eventually pop out until "The Walking Dead" season 7 will be out, which was reported to air on October.

In relating to theories, Hollywood Life reported that there is a high probability that the character who received the batting from Negan could be Abraham. The comic version of the show has already killed Michael Culditz's character Abraham, and that it should have been Abraham who got shot by Dwight in the train tracks instead of Denise, Comic Book reported. However, the TV version has been known to make some changes by not following everything that has been written in the show's book counterpart.

Theories also points out that it might be Daryl, but this will surely create a loud disappointment cheer from the fans. It is because Daryl has a large number of supporters, and that "The Walking Dead" series may not afford to lose this kind of character. The speculations that it could be Daryl sparked after AMC's announcement that Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, is set to have his own show on the network, titled "Riding with Norman Reedus."

It was also theorized that Michonne, played by Danai Gurira, may have been the victim of Negan's introduction episode. According to the theories, Michonne's death will stimulate Rick's revengeful behavior, and this could be the possible plot for the next season, knowing that Rick is establishing his intimate relationship with Michonne.

Another theory leads to Glenn's death. It has been reported that the comic version of the show revealed that Glenn died in the hands of Negan. Although this has been showed in the book, there is still a chance that Glenn was not the character that Negan killed in "The Walking Dead" season 6 finale episode.

Like what was reported, "The Walking Dead" series do not entirely follow was written in the comics, and that the show is not shy to make changes whenever necessary.
