"Scandal" Season 5 episode 18 will not air this Thursday, April 14. The show will take a brief hiatus and returns next week with new episode titled "Till Death Do Us Apart." Meanwhile, spoilers suggest that the upcoming segment is expected to make some big revelations as Olivia deals with the consequences of her actions. Here is what happens on the next instalment of the ABC television drama.

The upcoming segment is going to see the aftermath of the shocking murder that Olivia Pope committed in the fit of rage in episode 17. ABC has released a synopsis for "Scandal" Season 5 episode 18 on its official website. According to the press release, Olivia will finally come face-to-face with the consequences of beating Andrew Nichols to death. At the same time, she will figure out that Jake and Rowan, together, are plotting a sinister plan and what exactly it is. But is it too late for Olivia to stop the damage?
As noted in the synopsis, Jake and Rowan have already executed their plan and it forces Olivia to take some desperate measures to bring it to the stop. As Olivia's war with Papa Pope continues, she tries to minimize the damage his plans could cause her.
In the meantime, "Scandal" Season 5 episode 18 features flashbacks leading to big reveals. The flashbacks tease what happened in Jake's past and how he got caught in B6-13 conflict.
