There are rumors that Samsung's next generation flagship, Samsung Note 6, will sport great features like the latest processor from Qualcomm.

It is speculated that the Galaxy Note 6 will have iris scanner, 5.8-inch screen display, Google's latest operating system Android N out-of-the-box, and support for stylus pen, according to Galaxy Club. The phablet may as well ship with an impressive 25MP main camera, which will be a great improvement from its precursor that features a 16MP main camera lens.

More rumors indicate that 64-bit Kryo 2.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 SoC supported by Andreno 530 GPU and 8GB RAM will power the upcoming phablet, Uber Gizmo reported. The processing unit for Snapdragon 823 is still unknown, but it is suggested to sport similar features available in Snapdragon 820, only that it will be clocked higher.

A major concern is whether the South Korean tech giant will drop its high-end processor Exynos 8890. Based on the performance differences between Exynos and Snapdragon for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the company may stick to the former although this remains to be seen.

So far, it is confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 has been certified with IP68, implying that the phablet will be water and dust resistant in the same way Galaxy S7 is. The Note 6 is believed to withstand water submersion of up to one and a half meter for almost 30 minutes.

Further rumors show that the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 will be identical to its predecessor, Galaxy Note 5, in terms of teh external design. It had been previously suggested that the device will flaunt a 4K resolution, just like is the case with Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.

In addition, there is patent application by Samsung circulating online, which suggests that the upcoming flagship may be compatible with a laptop. Rumors have it that a docking station between the keyboard and the screen may make it possible for the smartphone to work as the laptop's touchpad when in frame.

Samsung is yet to confirm any of these rumors, and therefore, fans should take the information with a grain of salt. Meanwhile, they can watch the footage below to get more specifics on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6.
