Penelope Cruz has lost her case against Ekstra Bladet, the Danish tabloid she sued for publishing topless photos of her and photos of her son, Leo, on its website in September 2013.

For the photos were taken on a public beach, Cruz sued the publication and demanded 175,000 kroners ($26,691). She previously appealed the original decision by a Copenhagen court, but the higher court has just confirmed the decision and ordered her to pay the 25,000 kroner ($3,813) legal costs from the case, Euro Weekly News reported.

Currently, Cruz is filming the 2015 comedy movie "Grisby" with Sacha Baron Cohen, "Annabelle" star Annabelle Wallis, Ian McShane, Isla Fisher, Johnny Vegas, "Precious" actress Gabourey Sidibe and.

"Grimsby" previously became controversial because much of it was filmed in Essex, so its portrayal of the town has caused outrage among a lot of Grimsby residents.

According to the complaints, filming "Grimsby" in Essex will taint the reputation of the area as it will simply exacerbate the already existing negative stereotyping, Grimsby Telegraph has learned.

In 2014, Cruz inherited her title as Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive from Scarlett Johansson, who was her co-star in the 2008 film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," which also starred her husband Javier Bardem.

As the Sexiest Woman Alive, the "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" was featured on the November issue of Esquire released on Oct. 21, 2014.

It has been confirmed that Cruz and Diane Kruger are set to star in a dramatic romance film titled "This Man, This Woman," which will be directed by Isabel Coixet.
