The forthcoming "World of Warcraft: Legion" is said to be the sixth expansion set in the role-playing game installment. It picks up where "Warlords of Draenor" left off, wherein players will once again undergo deadly trials as they defend Azeroth from a third invasion of the Burning Legion, Game Spot has learned.

Hence, to help the heroes of Azeroth prepares for the coming attack, the upcoming expansion will allow players to boost one character to level 100, alongside the introduction of a new class hero named Demon Hunter and the enhanced transmogrification system.

It has been reported that the transmogrify 2.0 is an improved framework that will empower players to remodel their item's appearance while retaining the item's stats. Apart from that, it also features a new area called the Broken Isle and raises the current level cap from 100 to 110.

"Legion opens a dark and thrilling new chapter in one of the Warcraft series' greatest conflicts, Blizzard CEO and co-founder, Mike Morhaime, said in a press release statement."We're looking forward to sending everyone into battle against the Burning Legion this August."

Moreover, the video game giant revealed that the sixth expansion set will be available in two digital edition - the Standard Edition with an SRP price of $49.99 while the Digital Deluxe Edition is priced $69.99. The premium bundle is notably higher as it accompanies enthralling content for other Blizzard game titles.

In addition, game players can purchase the Collector's Edition. With a price tag of $90, the bundle comes with a hardcover art book, a Legion mouse pad, a CD soundtrack, behind-the-scenes two-disc Blu-ray/DVD and all the digital items from the Digital Deluxe edition.

Much to the delight of the fans, Blizzard will be giving an instant level 100 character boost for those players who will pre-purchase any of the two digital copy of the game's latest expansion. It also gives players an early access to the new Demon Hunter class ahead of its official release date.
