Stars of the mega-hit Korean television drama "Descendants of the Sun" (DoTS) are rumoured to be dating in real life. Reports swirling around suggest that actors Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo, who play the fan-favourite couple Captain Yoo Shi Jin and Doctor Kang Mo Yeon, were seen enjoying dinner date. "Descendants of the Sun" (DoTS) became one of the number one k-dramas in no time. As the show became popular globally, the dating rumours about the onscreen couple spread like wild fire. According to Fashion & Style, the actors were photographed together while having dinner together in a hotel restaurant in Hong Kong. Even though the Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo were accompanied by a staff member, it is said to be a mere cover up to avoid dating rumours.
Another incident that led to frenzied speculations was when Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo were spotted wearing similar bracelets. According to Drama Fever, this was not the first time the actors were rumoured to be dating. Fans reportedly claimed that the "Descendants of the Sun" (DoTS) star couple were spotted enjoying dinner date in New York as well.
Song Hye Kyo's representative insisted that Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye Kyo were not alone. They reportedly had company. The actress also posted a picture of her and her hairstylist in New York City on her Instagram account.
Recently, Song Hye Kyo addressed the dating rumours at a "Descendants of the Sun" (DoTS) press conference in New York. The actress revealed that she met her co-star at a Fashion Week in New York but people "viewed it differently."
"Isn't it funny that we couldn't eat together because of scandal worries despite Song Joong Ki going all the way there, and when we are friends who have worked on a project together for six months?" Song Hye Kyo was quoted as saying by Soompi.
The actress even addressed rumours that started with them wearing the same bracelets. She clarified that Song Joong-Ki's bracelet was something that may have been given to him by his stylist while hers was just a hair tie.
"Somehow it became a bracelet at one point," Song Hye Kyo added.
It is said that she laughed off the dating rumours.
