Most recent news reveals that the Kickstarter's most-funded game, "Exploding Kittens," is now available for download from Google Play store.

With a price of $1.99, players can now enjoy the multiplayer version of the card game from their own Android smartphones and tablets. The digital version has new content that is not found in the original game, including expansion packs for new cards, kitties, and gameplay action, Droid Life has learned.

"Players draw cards until someone draws an 'Exploding Kittens,' at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game - unless that player has a Defuse card that can defuse the Kitten using things like laser points, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches "Exploding Kitten's" gameplay, according to its official game-pedia website.

It has been learned that the mobile version is a kitty-powered rendition of Russian roulette, where the player may play as many or as few cards during their turn in the gameplay. All the cards of each type present in the deck are used to move, relieve or dodge the "Exploding Kittens" cards.

The cards were distinguished from each other by a unique flavor text, including Skip, Attack, See the Future, Shuffle, Favor, Nope and among others. However, cards without instructions must be played in matched pairs, where players are allowed to take a random card from another player's hand.

The mobile version supports local and online multiplayer, giving players the power to either join an existing match or personally host a match. It has also been learned that up to 5 players can play the game with each deck. Each round most likely lasts between 10 to 20 minutes.

According to reports, Elan Lee, Shane Small and Matthew Inman is the brain behind the game and was published by The Oatmeal in July 2015. The game is said to the most-funded game in Kickstarter history by drawing around $8,782,571 USD in pledges by 219, 382 backers upon its completion on Feb. 19, 2015.

The mobile version first came out in iOS devices on Jan. 21. To date, the "Exploding Kittens" comes only in English dialect. Nonetheless, the makers already said that they are working on translations into French, German, Spanish, Italian and French languages.
