"Descendants of the Sun" is the entertainment hot potato these past few weeks because of the rumored off-cam romance of actors Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki. K-drama fanatics from all sides of the world are going-gaga over Joong Ki and Hye Kyo's on-screen chemistry, which led them to think that these Korean stars are having mutual understanding in real life.
The speculations regarding "Descendants of the Sun" stars dating started when an image was released weeks ago, with the actors wearing the same kind of bracelet. Soon after the bracelet issue, an image of Hye Kyo and Joong Ki together with the series' staff and crew, who were out for a meal, added spice to the rumored dating issue. The said image was taken during an eat-out of the cast, crew and staff of the "Descendants of the Sun" in Hong Kong.
The group photo was shared to many netizens, and as expected, the image surfaced like a wildfire in all social media sites. The said group photo even strengthens the rumors that the two Korean stars are really dating in real life, according to MNR Daily.
Hye Kyo's camp acted fast regarding the dating issue as they released statements denying all these speculations. The agency stated that Joong Ki and Hye Kyo are not dating and are not engaged into any off-cam romance. However, another image of Hye Kyo in New York, together with a hairstylist, started the dating issue again as Joong Ki was also seen in the place having dinner with Hye Kyo. Handlers of Hye Kyo confirmed that the two were indeed dined out together in New York but not as a couple.
Meanwhile, aside from the dating issues between Hye Kyo and Joong Ki, Hye Kyo is being linked to a politician. It is said that the unnamed politician is sponsoring the popular Korean actress, in which, her agency denied. Hye Kyo's agency released a statement saying that they are already in the works in finding out who really started the sponsoring issue, and they also plan to file charges against the mischief-maker, Australia Network News reported.
