"The Flash" season 2 could see Joe West telling his son Wally about Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) real identity.

In the previous episode "Versus Zoom," Hunter Zolomon (Teddy Sears) kidnapped Wally. In exchange for the latter's safety, Hunter urged Barry to give him his speed.

Since Barry didn't want Iris (Candice Patton) or Joe to worry about Wally, the former was left with no other choice but to give his speed away in exchange for Wally.

In the upcoming episode, Wally will be extremely guilty over the fact that The Flash had to give away his speed just so he could keep him safe.

The teaser for the upcoming episode showed Wally talking to his father.

"Look, I've been reckless my whole life, racing cars, pushing limits, doing everything at full speed without care in the world. It wasn't until Zoom took me that I really thought I was going to die. And I was going to die if The Flash didn't do what he did," Wally said.

As of late, Wally is still unaware of who The Flash really is, and there are some speculations that he will discover his identity very soon.

According to Design N Trend, it's highly possible that Wally will discover that The Flash and Barry is one and the same person through his own father.

The publication also claimed that it would definitely make sense for Wally to know about The Flash's true identity very soon especially since the latter saved his life.

When Wally finally finds out that Barry is The Flash, it will become much clearer to him that he saved him because he considers him family.

Meanwhile, here's a look at the synopsis for the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 2.

"Griffin Grey (Haig Sutherland), a meta-human with super strength, mistakes Harry (Tom Cavanagh) for Earth-1 Harrison Wells, kidnaps him and demands that Wells cure him from his current condition. Realizing another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin's location, Barry asks Jesse (Violett Beane) to help. Meanwhile, Wallys corners Joe about The Flash."

"The Flash" season 2 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
