Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has demanded a trade following the team's openness in selecting a QB in the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft. The latest rumors suggest that at least three teams are interested in acquiring Bradford from the Eagles.

ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter first reported Bradford's trade request on Twitter. Schefter noted that the 28-year-old quarterback has made it clear that he will not be showing up at the team's offseason program.

The Eagles front office was reportedly surprised by Bradford's demand since they signed him to a two-year, $36 million deal this offseason with $22 million of it being guaranteed. The tension started following Philadelphia's acquisition of the second overall pick from the Cleveland Browns.

Despite the request, the team still thinks that Bradford will be their starting QB even though they will be drafting a younger quarterback in the draft. The team is rumored to be interested in drafting North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz.

According to SB Nation, there are three teams interested in the services of the 2010 first overall pick. The first team is the Denver Broncos that recently lost Peyton Manning to retirement and Brock Osweiler in free agency.

The Broncos only has two quarterbacks on their roster and inquired about Bradford. However, the Eagles reportedly asked for too much causing Denver to back off.

The Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills are the two other teams currently linked with the Eagles QB. Nonetheless, the Browns has a lot of options at quarterback while the Bills still has Tyrod Taylor and are only looking for a backup.

Bradford will be a very expensive backup quarterback and his injury history is also a concern. The Eagles are facing a tough decision if they will let him stay and risk ruining the locker room or trade him to a team that won't give them much in return.

In the three teams mentioned, the Broncos have the most need for a quarterback at the moment and will likely explore ways to acquire Bradford. According to USA Today, the New York Jets could also be a potential trade partner for Philadelphia.

The Jets and starting QB Ryan Fitzgerald are still not seeing eye-to-eye in their contract discussions. If New York trades for Bradford, his salary will only have a salary cap hit of $7 million due to the Eagles paying him a signing bonus close to $11 million.
