According to Beta News, both the surface Book and Surface Pro 4 have been caught up in critical issues regarding standby mode, Wi-Fi, and display drivers, to name a few. However, Microsoft has recently fixed the hitches and is now releasing a slew of impressive videos ads that showcase the power of the Surface lineup.

The videos have not only shown the brilliance of the tablets, but also the versatility of the Windows 10 operating system, which they run on. The videos involve a diverse group of people who do different jobs. For example, one of the videos shows Doyin Richards, a blogger, who explains how windows 10 supports him with his everyday tasks.

In general, the new ads are showing how the 2-in-1 Surface tablets help device owners carry on with their professions. They highlight such people as forensic scientists, architects, and jewelry designers.

It is believed that Microsoft is using this as a move to promote its Surface tablets to save them from criticism arising from the past hitches. The tech giant also released a software update to both the Surface Book and surface Pro 4 recently to fix power management, overheating problems, and battery depletion.

Meanwhile, reports are indicating that the successor to Surface Pro 4 will be seeing its release in early 2017, as Microsoft may be gearing up for the device's release at the time. According to CNET, the upcoming Surface Pro 5 hybrid might be released next year, contrary to previous reports that it would get released sometime in June.

It is said that Surface Pro 5 will run on the most powerful Intel processor to date, probably one of the sixth generation Intel Skylake processors. There are also speculations that it could run on the successor of the Skylake processor.

Other expected specs include a USB Type-C port, a microSD slot, a 3.5mm headset jack, a new rechargeable Surface Pen, and a Mini DisplayPort for video. The Surface Pro 5 will cost between $899 and $1500 depending on the variant.
