After making the intimate ceremony that made their union legal, the couple reportedly still plans to go on with the much bigger wedding to take place this coming weekend at Depp's private island in the Bahamas, Hollywood Life reported.

The couple first met on the set of their film "The Rum Diary" where Heard played the love interest of Depp in the story. They were not dating at the time until Depp and then long-time partner Vanessa Paradis split up after 14 years together in 2012.

Depp and Heard got engaged in 2014 but the relationship still gets numerous breakup rumors.

The lovebirds are reportedly very happy together in January and have been spotted being cute and flirty at the Art of Elysium gala where Amber touches Depp's leg.  The Golden Globe winner actor is very supportive and affectionate of his now-bride.

"She's sharp as a tack, a wonderful girl. A Southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me," he admits to Savannah Guthrie of NBC News.

The bigger wedding will have 50 guests which will include Depp's children Lily-Rose, 15 and Jack, 12. All the guests will stay at the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's 156-foot private yacht. Heard will be wearing a Stella McCartney wedding gown for the wedding day.

The wedding has to be this weekend reportedly because Heard will be filming a movie in London, while Depp will begin the next series of the "Pirates of the Caribbean."
