“19 Kids and Counting” alum Amy Duggar King is reportedly planning on doing another spin-off series with husband Dillon King. If any of the rumors were true, there will be another Duggar series on TLC, aside from “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.”
On her official Instagram page, Amy shared a photo with her husband Dillon, with the caption, "California is always a good idea! #filming." Although she did not reveal further details, fans of the Duggar family immediately assumed that the couple is in the middle of filming a new reality series.
While most of the responses were quite positive, curious to know what Amy and Dillon were up to, a netizen commented that the "19 Kids and Counting" alum was being a "tease." He claimed that no matter how fans beg for answers, Amy will never answer them but Dillon will eventually throw them a bone, adding that it was a "lame" tactic for publicity. Quickly coming to his wife's defense, Dillon explained that they were in no way trying to tease their fans.
"We are just living our lives and sharing as we go. When we able to share more we will," he commented.
"We are excited! That's all we can really say," Amy added.
In other news, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" has been fending cancellation rumors since April. Multiple reports confirmed that the "19 Kids and Counting" spin-off series was losing advertisers as most brands no longer wanted to be associated with the Duggar family, particularly Josh Duggar, following the scandal.
Amid the high ratings, it was said that most companies did not want to take the risk of airing their ads on the TLC series. As previously reported by The Hollywood Gossip, the network has been recently under fire for airing a promo for child abuse month, all while "supporting" Josh, who admitted to molesting four of his sisters in his younger years.
Although Josh was never on, and reportedly will never be on as "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," many netizens still believed that by airing the show TLC was, in a way, condoning what he did.
"TLC has a promo for child abuse month, but they're paying a family who has a son who abused his siblings, and then the family proceeded to cover it up. Stop being hypocrites," a netizen wrote on Twitter.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" airs Tuesdays on TLC.
