The PC version of Remedy Entertainment's "Quantum Break" has recently received its second title update, which fixed the frame rate problem, and the other major issues. The patch has also added some lacking features that the initial release did not have like the quit button.
The game studio released the PC title update on April 30, and has fixed a lot of major issues that the PC version was riddled with. The frame rate of the game has become better and more stable than its first release. This update has also fixed the rare bug that would delete progress after completing the game, and also the in-game TV screens that looked grainy at times.
According to a forum post from Remedy's official forums, the studio has added an exit option to the main menu to make it easy for players to exit the game. The previous remedy for the PC players that the game studio suggested was to press ALT and F4 buttons, and also pressing the X icon on the top right side corner of the screen.
The issue of crashing when players start the game with the game launcher has also been resolved with this new update. This has been reported as a rare type of crash, but the game studio wants to make sure that the game will perform perfectly after the update.
The Windows 10 version of the game had issues with Cloud saving previously, but it has been resolved with the March update. The game studio still advises players to switch Microsoft accounts before signing into the Xbox app. They have also suggested updating the players' Windows 10 to its latest version before playing the game.
Not all of the multiple issues have been fixed by the studio, according to Gamespot. The list does not mention the option to lock the frame rate at 30 FPS, and also the issue that of the game's stability on Nvidia hardware.
The download issues that players have been complaining about on the Windows Store have been resolved. Microsoft's tech support is ready to assist any player who might have any problems downloading the game.
