As avid fans of the "Battlefield" franchise wait for the release date of "Battlefield 1" slated for October, Electronic Arts has prepared both an early access and a beta phase for the upcoming title. While the content of the early servers is still unknown, it will be great to reintroduce the avid fans to the systems of a World War Shooter.
Fans can play the retail game for three days ahead of the Oct. 21 release date in various ways. Xbox One gamers need to subscribe to the EA Access, while those who wish to play the game on their PC can do so through the Origin Access. However, players on PS4 have no way to benefit from the early access through subscriptions.
For players who are not ready to go for the subscriptions can decide to buy the Deluxe Edition via Battlefield 1 official website. The special edition will contain the 3-day early access for the retail version of the upcoming game, irrespective of the player's platform. Similarly, players can purchase the Collector's Edition on Amazon.
On the other hand, players who cannot wait to get their hands on the upcoming World War 1 game can try to get in the game's beta. Those opting to play the beta can access "Battlefield 1" official website and register on their Battlefield Insider subscription via Battlefield Insider Community. Application for the Insider subscription is free and promises to offer players access to their public beta for "Battlefield 1," exclusive content, in-game rewards, and a sneak peek on "Battlefield 1" news.
EA DICE is yet to announce if any progress will be carried over from the beta to the final version of the game. In addition, it is unclear when this beta will commence and the game only has five months to go before the actual release date.
