Good news for the musical comedy film franchise, "Pitch Perfect," as it has been confirmed that "Pitch Perfect 3" will be on theaters sooner than expected.
It can be remembered that the film was initially set to premiere on August 2017, Variety reported; however, rumors suggest that the release date has been pushed to premiere in July 2017. According to rumors, the change may be influenced by the "Alien: Covenant" film, which is set to premiere on Aug. 4, 2017.
According to Collider, Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are the only confirmed stars who will reprise their role in "Pitch Perfect 3." The same publication also revealed that the director and one of the casts of the film, Elizabeth Banks, will also return in the third installment of the American musical comedy franchise.
It can be recalled that the previous installment featured Adam DeVine, Anna Camp, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Hana Mae Lee, Chrissi Fit and more. However, since no confirmation has been provided, aside from the fact that only Kendrick and Wilson will return to "Pitch Perfect 3," fans of the musical film are said to be wondering whether some of the previous cast members may no longer appear in the third installment of "Pitch Perfect."
Meanwhile, since the last film featured Pentatonix, Snoop Dogg, Robin Roberts and other big names, Banks, the director of the film, said that she could not wait to know which stars would make a cameo appearance in "Pitch Perfect 3."
In regards to "Pitch Perfect 3" cameo appearances, it cannot be denied that there were rumors that the famous Canadian singer songwriter, Justin Bieber, is set to have a cameo appearance in the anticipated movie. The rumor sparked when someone who claims to be close to Bieber said that Wilson and the Canadian superstar talked about working together during a concert of Jennifer Lopez. The speculation went up after fans knew that Adam DeVine, who happens to be one of the cast members of the previous installment, is a friend of Wilson and Bieber, cites Hollywood Life.
The two other "Pitch Perfect" movies were box office hits that earned a whopping $402 million combined, and "Pitch Perfect 3" is expected to surpass the numbers once the movie gets released in July 2017.
